HARPERS FERRY, WV – Riley Moore, State Treasurer and candidate for Congress in West Virginia's 2nd District, today announced the endorsement of the West Virginia Coal Association.
“We also endorse State Treasurer Riley Moore in his bid for the congressional seat being vacated by Alex Mooney. Moore has crusaded against national and international financial interests who have adopted lending policies that discriminate against fossil energy extraction,” said Chris Hamilton, President and Chief Executive Officer of the West Virginia Coal Association.
“I’m extremely proud to have the support of West Virginia Coal Association in my race for U.S. Congress. The coal industry is under attack by radicals like Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats. I've fought against them as State Treasurer and I'll continue to fight against them in U.S. Congress to protect West Virginia jobs,” said Treasurer Moore.
Riley Moore is running for the Republican nomination in West Virginia's 2nd Congressional District, which encompasses 27 counties in the northern half of the state. You can learn more about Riley Moore's campaign for U.S. Congress at MooreForWV.com.
